How do I install my printer without the installation disc?

I have a Lexmark X1240 and I need to install the printer but I don't have the installation disc. Any suggestions?How do I install my printer without the installation disc?

Okay all you got to do is to plug your printer usb wire into your computer it should pick it up this way and ask if you want to install
search for an install on the net
find the download on this link
You have to first install the driver for it. You can download it here!

Put X1240 on the search box and It will give you the drivers.
here's a link to the Lexmark web site. Just select your operating system and download the drivers. To confirm that the driver was right try to print a test page. Hope this helps.
