I ave a printer connected to my desktop. i was wondering how i would be able to create a home network so that i would wirelessly print from my laptop. I do not want to use a printer router either.How do i share a printer wirelessly between a laptop and a desktop?
Connect the printer to the desktop, which is connected to the router. Then turn on file and printer sharing on that computer. Then on your laptop, go to Start%26gt;Printers and Faxes%26gt;Add A Printer%26gt;Next%26gt;A Network Printer%26gt;Next%26gt;Browse%26gt;Next. Now, select the printer from the list and click on next, it will install the drivers for the printer. Now, you can make it your default printer, and start printing!
