I have a BT voyager wireless router, an Apple Powerbook G4 and Epson R240 printer. How can i connect all this so that i can print without using a cable to connect the printer and laptop? Best bet doesn't involve the router at all - see if you can config infrared on your portable pc to link to i/r on the printer. Might work ...!
i don't know.. check around some computer sales sites like www.tigerdirect.com i don't see why they couldn't make a bluetooth type of device that plugs into your printer's usb port that will allow communication with the computer or router. They do it with mice.
you cant u would need to get a network printer. or something like

You probably wouldn't be able to do that directly, what you might consider is getting a print server. They are boxes usually about the size of a router.

You would hook the printer into the print server and then connect the print server to the router (there may be wireless print servers available). Then you could print to the printer over your wireless network.

Even if the connection to the print server from the router was wired, you still wouldn't need to get up and hook to the printer every time you wanted to print. Just make sure the printer is compatible with the print server.
