How to connect a printer to a netbook or the other way around?

I got a netbook(Aspire one) and I can't set up the printer. Usually I put the disk that came with the printer into the disk drive and upload it but the netbook doesn't have a disk drive. Can anyone help me please...I need a printer for school. How to connect a printer to a netbook or the other way around?
If the netbook has internet access, go to the printers manufacturer's web site and download drivers for the make and model you have and install. How to connect a printer to a netbook or the other way around?
there is a way, but you need another computer with a CD drive to do it.

Go into that computer, and go to the properties of the CD drive. go to the sharing tab and click the ';if you understand the...'; button. then click share this on the network, and create a name for it and click ok. Then go to the netbook, find the other computer on the network, and access the CD drive. If all goes well, then you should be able to see a folder called whatever you called the CD drive. Then insert your cd into the computer, and then close any windows explorer windows and reaccess the CD drive. Find the setup file on the disc, and it should work.

If it dosen't work, you have to buy an external cd drive. (usually around $100-$200).
I have an Aspire also. For drivers just download them from the printer maker. But the printer needs to be either wifi or slaved off another PC. My printer is slaved off my desktop that shares it. I hope that helped.
