I have two computers and one printer. How do I setup my network to share the printer?

I am running vista on both computers. Is there a way to setup printer sharing through my router or do i have to buy a switch or something like that?I have two computers and one printer. How do I setup my network to share the printer?
Yes, you just attach the printer to your computer, and right click and go to sharing. Vista should do automatic discovery of the printer. On the user computer, go to printers and faxes and go to add new. Then look for the printer on the network.I have two computers and one printer. How do I setup my network to share the printer?
If you are talking about a wireless router:

You might need to get a wireless adapter for your printer. Luckily, for me, it came with the printer I got. I had to re-install the printer driver to be wireless when I made the commitment to do so. For you, you'll have to make sure the wireless driver is installed on both computers first which will give you access to the printer through the router. After that's done, you'll have to go to your settings on your printer to accept the wireless settings.

I found most of this in the manual, if you have problems or don't have a manual, you might want to check out the website of the printer maker.

If you are talking a network where you have 2 computers for the one printer:

You will just need to have the printer hooked up to both computers %26amp; have the driver installed on both computers. Make sure you have enough connecting cables to make this happen.

With time and patience, you'll have a printer for both your computers.

Hope this helps.
If both computers can talk to each other (they appear in Network Places) then:
